Well, in Brazil business its really good!
At the first semester of this year, FIAT grow a lot. Actually, increase market share in 19%, compared as last year and the mains reason for this are the "flex engines", wich means engines that accept petrol and alcool.
As FIAT said, the market share of "flex engines" increase from 48,9% to 68,3% and they are expecting somenthing like 80%!

Well, I didn´t find this info for 2005... I saw on a local website that on 2003 Stilo was sold more than VW Golf, but on 2004 VW Golf sold more.
I believe that Stilo will have more sucess from now on because FIAT Brazil is offering the "flex engine" (petrol + alcool) and the brazilian market are really looking for this!
FIAT its powerfull here and have majority of market Share. Check it out:

Until Q2 of 2005 FIAT sold 261.169 cars, more than 37.000 car units compared with the competitor on second position. Fiat its leading with 25,4% of market share
